Revis Signs!!

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson recently gave Blog Blitz an exclusive interview. The most obvious questions were his thoughts about Darrelle Revis' hold-out. He was very nonchalant and stated that the Jets were prepared to proceed without him. I couldn't help but take nfl throwback jerseys
these comments with a grain of salt given that Revis is the heart and soul of the Jets defense.

Woody even said that he wasn't nervous about starting Kyle Wilson at cornerback even though it is a very tough position for a rookie. He explained "everyone has to start somewhere".

Well, the gamesmanship came to end today when Revis Dallas Cowboys jersey
signed a four-year deal and expects to report to the Jets training facility tomorrow. What is surprising about the signing is not that it happened (given the amount of money already on the table, it was inevitable on Revis' part) but that head coach Rex Ryan flew to Florida to get the deal done. The last time I can remember a head coach getting that involved with a player is when Vikings head coach Brad Childress picked up Brett Favre and chauffeured him to their practice facility.
